Defeat creatures empowered with elemental air during a storm event in The Waking Shores.

Thunderstorms in The Waking Shores requires you to defeat 200 creatures empowered with the Elementally Imbued buff during an active air storm event in The Waking Shores.

1

Check For Active Air Storm

Open your map while in The Waking Shores and look for the air storm icon. Storms are only active for a few hours at a time, and only kills on enemies with the Elementally Imbued buff count toward the achievement.

2

Farm Phoenixes On The Rock

Head to the elevated rock at 65, 28.8 where a pack of Lava Phoenixes are clustered. When a phoenix drops a feather on death and rises again, each death counts as a separate kill toward the achievement — kill the phoenix, not the feather.

3

Farm Scalecracker Keep Mobs

At Scalecracker Keep at 66.6, 26, the Djaradin inside respawn very quickly, making it an efficient farming loop while the phoenix pack is respawning. There is also an additional pack outside the keep at 67.5, 27.2 that respawns more slowly and can be cleared between indoor runs.

Tips

  • Killing a phoenix that drops a feather and then rises counts as two kills toward the 200 total — prioritize phoenix packs over other mob types.

  • Many enemies in the storm area do not have the Elementally Imbued buff and will not count, so focus on confirmed mobs like the Lava Phoenixes and the fast-respawning Djaradin inside Scalecracker Keep.
