Defeat Kurog Grimtotem after destroying the Primal Avatar in Vault of the Incarnates on Normal difficulty or higher.
The Power is MINE! is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Kurog Grimtotem after destroying the Primal Avatar in Vault of the Incarnates on Normal difficulty or higher, where the Primal Avatar is summoned by dragging Kurog through the elemental quadrants in the correct order.
Enter on Normal Difficulty
Enter Vault of the Incarnates and set the difficulty to Normal or higher before engaging Kurog Grimtotem.
Pull Boss to Earth
Begin the fight by pulling Kurog into the Earth quadrant and bring his health down to 80%.
Move Boss to Fire
Drag Kurog from Earth to the Fire quadrant and bring his health down to 50%. When crossing through the middle of the room, use defensive cooldowns and heavy heals to survive Kurog's massive AOE damage.
Move Boss to Air
Drag Kurog into the Air quadrant and bring his health down to 30%. If Kurog's intermission phase triggers and adds spawn, kill the adds but do not kill Kurog.
Move Boss to Frost
Drag Kurog into the Frost quadrant. The Primal Avatar will spawn in the middle of the room — immediately kill the Primal Avatar before turning to Kurog.
Verify and Kill Kurog
After the Primal Avatar dies, confirm the achievement tracker criteria has turned from red to white, then defeat Kurog Grimtotem to complete the achievement.
Tips
A non-interactable Essence of Primal item will appear in each quadrant after Kurog enters it correctly, confirming you are on track for the achievement.
To avoid Kurog stopping to cast and dealing massive ticking damage while crossing the center, use a Warlock gateway or movement cooldowns to move through the middle as quickly as possible.
For an easier run, complete the Earth and Fire quadrants first, wait for the intermission phase, then continue with Air and Frost.
