Defeat the Raging Tempest after striking a single player with 5 Lightning Strikes simultaneously and defeating a Storm Elemental in The Nokhud Offensive on Mythic difficulty.

What Are The Chances... is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating the Raging Tempest in The Nokhud Offensive on Mythic difficulty after a single player is struck by 5 Lightning Strikes simultaneously and a Storm Elemental has been defeated.

1

Assemble a Mixed Group

Run The Nokhud Offensive on Mythic difficulty with a mix of level 70 and level 80 characters. Using all level 80 characters causes the Raging Tempest's Lightning Strike to miss frequently due to the level difference against a level 72 boss, making the achievement extremely difficult to complete.

2

Stack Tank Under Boss

Have the tank stand directly under the Raging Tempest during the Lightning Strike ability while all other players spread away from them. This causes all 5 Lightning Strike circles to overlap on the tank, which is required to trigger the achievement condition.

3

Kill the Storm Elemental

Once the tank is successfully hit by all 5 Lightning Strikes simultaneously, a Storm Elemental add will spawn. Defeat the Storm Elemental, then defeat the Raging Tempest to complete the achievement.

Tips

  • See the video guides for visual breakdowns of the Lightning Strike stacking strategy.

  • Running with level 70 characters significantly reduces the miss rate on Lightning Strike compared to level 80 characters, and at least one higher-geared player is recommended to handle damage and orb soaking during the attempt.
