Pet all of the bakar in the Ohn'ahran Plains.
Who's a Good Bakar? is a 10-point exploration achievement earned by petting all 20 bakar dogs scattered across the Ohn'ahran Plains.
Complete Release the Hounds Prerequisites
Before you can pet Fogl, Zephyr, Elaichi, Pesca, and Tseg, you must complete the quest chain: Medallion of a Fallen Friend, then The Sole Mender, then Sole Supplier, which unlocks Release the Hounds. Completing Release the Hounds frees these five bakar from captivity in Timberstep Outpost so they can be petted.
Complete Return to Roscha Prerequisites
To pet Baba, complete the chain: Medallion of a Fallen Friend, The Sole Mender, Sole Supplier, A Centaur's Best Friend, and A Chief of Legends, which unlocks Return to Roscha. Completing Return to Roscha frees Baba in Timberstep Outpost.
Pet Baba and Gentara
Head to Timberstep Outpost and pet Baba at 84.27, 24.77 and Gentara at 83.9, 25.92.
Pet Fogl, Zephyr, Elaichi, Pesca, and Tseg
Still in Timberstep Outpost, pet Zephyr and Fogl who run around together at 84.94, 25.09, then pet Elaichi who patrols the road at 85.13, 22.4, Tseg at 84.08, 22.95, and Pesca at 84.19, 27.12.
Complete Taivan's Purpose for Taivan
Taivan requires completing the main Ohn'ahran Plains storyline and the quest Taivan's Purpose, which is part of the Sojourner of Ohn'ahran Plains achievement. Once done, pet Taivan at 61.84, 38.69.
Complete The Trouble with Taivan for Soyoo
Pet Soyoo after completing the quest The Trouble with Taivan. Use /tar Soyoo if you have trouble locating her in the area.
Pet Hugo with the Aylaag Clan
Hugo always travels with the Aylaag Clan camp. Find and pet Hugo at 70.63, 63.64.
Pet Ellam at the Aylaag Camp
Ellam only spawns when the Aylaag Clan camp is located at 71.19, 31.56 with quests active. Find her at 76.61, 30.61 and pet her. Ellam has a Good Girl progress bar from 0 to 100 that fills as players pet her. When it reaches 100 she leaves briefly for 5 to 10 minutes and then returns, so wait nearby if the bar is already full.
Pet Wish, Rotti, and Redfur
Pet Wish at 81.03, 59.49, then Rotti who walks around at 81.06, 58.37, and Redfur at 80.68, 58.92.
Pet Alli and Baga
Pet Alli at 40.9, 56.58 in the western part of the plains, then head to Baga at 48.99, 41.07.
Pet Berrel, Vinyu, Katei, and Nahma
Pet Berrel at 62.02, 42.76, then Vinyu and Katei who are together at 64.01, 41.19, and finally Nahma at 61.09, 53.03.
Track Any Remaining Bakar
If any bakar are missing, use /tar followed by the dog's name to locate them, as some are walking around their areas and may not be immediately visible.
Tips
Ellam's Good Girl bar is shared across all players — if her bar just hit 100 and she has walked away, wait 5 to 10 minutes and she will return to 76.61, 30.61.
The prerequisite chain Medallion of a Fallen Friend into The Sole Mender into Sole Supplier is shared by both the Release the Hounds and Return to Roscha quest lines, so completing it once unlocks the path to both.
