Defeat Eranog after finding a Frozen Portal Stone and defeating a Burning Behemoth in Vault of the Incarnates on Normal difficulty or higher.

What Frozen Things Do is a 10-point achievement in Vault of the Incarnates requiring you to pick up a Frozen Portal Stone, thaw and kill a Frozen Behemoth using lava pools, then defeat Eranog on Normal difficulty or higher.

1

Pick Up Frozen Portal Stone

In the trash area leading to Eranog, cross the left bridge past the fire elemental mini-boss and find the Frozen Portal Stone along the far left wall. Click it to receive a buff.

2

Begin the Eranog Encounter

Once the Eranog fight starts, a Frozen Behemoth spawns from a portal that appears on the player who picked up the Frozen Portal Stone.

3

Thaw the Frozen Behemoth

Kite the Frozen Behemoth over the lava pools that spawn during the encounter to remove its stacks — the behemoth's ice protects it from damage, so it must be fully thawed before it can be killed. All 10 stacks must be removed; killing the Behemoth with stacks remaining will cause the achievement to fail.

4

Avoid Stack Overload

Do not run the Behemoth over too many lava pools at once, as the stacking damage-over-time effect that builds during thawing can wipe the raid if it gets too high.

5

Kill Behemoth Then Eranog

Once all stacks are removed and the Behemoth is killed, continue the Eranog encounter using normal boss mechanics and defeat him to earn the achievement.

Tips

  • Raid members who are dead when Eranog is defeated still receive credit for this achievement.

  • This achievement can be completed solo at max level on Normal difficulty — see the video guides for a full walkthrough of both the Frozen Behemoth and Eranog kills.
