Like Sands Through the Hourglass
Defeat Chrono-Lord Deios after catching 20 Eternity Orbs as they fall to the ground in Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr on Mythic difficulty.
Like Sands Through the Hourglass requires you to defeat Chrono-Lord Deios after catching 20 Eternity Orbs as they fall to the ground in Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr on Mythic difficulty.
Set Mythic Difficulty
Enter Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr on Mythic difficulty before engaging Chrono-Lord Deios.
Engage Chrono-Lord Deios
Begin the fight with Chrono-Lord Deios. If you have a pet, let it tank the boss in the middle of the room so you can position yourself closer to the edge where Eternity Orbs fall.
Catch 20 Eternity Orbs
Eternity swirls will form under your feet — stand in each swirl until you catch the orb, then move to the next. You only need 20 orbs caught, changed from requiring every orb as of patch 10.0.7, but catching a few extra is recommended to be safe.
Kill Boss After 20
Once you have caught at least 20 Eternity Orbs, kill Chrono-Lord Deios to complete the achievement.
Tips
The achievement tracker may remain red even after catching 20 or more orbs — count the orbs yourself rather than relying on the tracker color to confirm completion.
Blood Death Knights can use Anti-Magic Shell immediately after Chrono-Lord Deios casts the first Eternity Orb, and Death's Advance as Wing Buffet is being cast, to survive the encounter solo.
During Phase 2 when the boss reaches zero energy, he grants 50% increased haste — use this window to burn him down as much as possible before Phase 1 repeats.
