Before attempting any advanced races at gold time, collect all 48 Dragon Glyphs across the Dragon Isles to fully unlock your dragonriding abilities and upgrades. This is essential for advanced difficulty gold runs.

Equip Spectral Visage to make yourself and your drake transparent while racing in third-person view, allowing you to see upcoming rings and course obstacles more clearly.

Find and start the Academy Ascent advanced race at 60.26, 41.79 in Thaldraszus. Use Surge Forward to build Thrill of the Skies before activating other dragonriding abilities, and clip the edges of the golden rings rather than flying through their centers to save time.

Find and start the Cavern Criss-Cross advanced race at 58.04, 33.67 in Thaldraszus. Collect green swirling orbs along the course without deviating significantly from the path, as each one grants an additional ability charge.

Find and start the Cliffside Circuit advanced race at 37.65, 48.94 in Thaldraszus. Time your Surge Forward casts to generate Thrill of the Skies before using Skyward Ascent or other dragonriding abilities for maximum effect.

Find and start the Flowing Forest Flight advanced race at 57.76, 75.01 in Thaldraszus. Fly along the edges of golden circles and gather green swirling orbs along the route to maintain ability charges throughout the course.

Find and start the Garden Gallivant advanced race at 39.48, 76.21 in Thaldraszus. Use Surge Forward consistently to keep Thrill of the Skies active before spending other dragonriding ability charges.

Find and start the Passage Pathway advanced race at 57.25, 66.9 in Thaldraszus. Clip the outer edges of golden rings instead of flying through their centers to shave off small amounts of time across the full course.
