Azure Span Advanced: Gold
Obtain gold in all advanced races in the Azure Span.
Azure Span Advanced: Gold requires you to earn a gold medal in every advanced dragonriding race located across the Azure Span zone.
Collect All Dragon Glyphs
Before attempting any advanced gold races, collect all 48 Dragon Glyphs across the Dragon Isles — covering Waking Shores, Ohn'ahran Plains, Azure Span, and Thaldraszus. This unlocks all dragonriding abilities and upgrades, which are necessary to hit gold times on advanced difficulty.
Use Surge Forward Correctly
On advanced difficulty, timing Surge Forward is critical — use it to gain Thrill of the Skies before activating Skyward Ascent or other dragonriding abilities, as Thrill of the Skies significantly amplifies the impact of those abilities.
Fly Ring Edges, Collect Swirlies
Fly close to the edges of the golden checkpoint rings rather than through their centers to save time, and pick up green swirlies along the route without straying too far off course, as each one grants an extra ability charge.
Complete Iskaara Flyover
Start the Iskaara Flyover advanced race at 16.56, 49.37 in the Azure Span and finish it within 79.000 seconds to earn gold.
Complete Azure Span Slalom
Head to the Azure Span Slalom at 20.95, 22.62 in the Azure Span and complete the advanced race within 60.000 seconds to earn gold.
Complete Remaining Azure Span Races
Complete every other advanced race across the Azure Span: Ruby Lifeshrine Loop at 63.3, 70.9; Emberflow Flight at 41.95, 67.3; Uktulut Coaster at 55.42, 41.19; Flashfrost Flyover at 62.78, 74.02; Wild Preserve Slalom at 47.02, 85.58; Apex Canopy River Run at 23.27, 84.3; Wingrest Roundabout at 73.2, 33.96; Wild Preserve Circuit at 42.58, 94.46; Vakthros Ascent at 71.29, 24.66; Azure Span Sprint at 47.91, 40.78; Central Circuit at 48.49, 35.78; and Archive Ambit at 42.26, 56.74 — earning gold in each to complete the achievement.
Tips
Completing any race at gold time automatically grants bronze and silver medals for that same race, so you only need one successful gold run per race.
Advanced mode for each race becomes available only after earning silver in the normal version of that race.
