Waking Shores Advanced: Gold
Obtain gold in all advanced races in the Waking Shores.
Waking Shores Advanced: Gold requires you to earn a gold rating in every advanced dragon racing circuit across the Waking Shores zone.
Collect All Dragon Glyphs
Before attempting any advanced races, collect all 48 Dragon Glyphs across all zones. This unlocks your full dragonriding talent tree and all upgrades, which are necessary to hit gold times on advanced difficulty.
Unlock Advanced Race Access
To access each advanced race, you must first complete the normal version of that circuit with at least a silver rating. Do this for every Waking Shores race before chasing gold times.
Complete Apex Canopy River Run
Find and complete the Apex Canopy River Run advanced race at 23.27, 84.3 in the Waking Shores with a gold rating.
Complete Wild Preserve Circuit
Head to 42.58, 94.46 in the Waking Shores and complete the Wild Preserve Circuit advanced race with a gold rating.
Complete Wild Preserve Slalom
Travel to 47.02, 85.58 in the Waking Shores and finish the Wild Preserve Slalom advanced race with a gold rating.
Complete Flashfrost Flyover
Fly to 62.78, 74.02 in the Waking Shores and complete the Flashfrost Flyover advanced race with a gold rating.
Complete Ruby Lifeshrine Loop
Head to 63.3, 70.9 in the Waking Shores and complete the Ruby Lifeshrine Loop advanced race with a gold rating.
Complete Wingrest Roundabout
Travel to 73.2, 33.96 in the Waking Shores and finish the Wingrest Roundabout advanced race with a gold rating.
Complete Uktulut Coaster Ride
Find the Uktulut Coaster Ride advanced race at 55.42, 41.19 in the Waking Shores and complete it with a gold rating.
Complete Emberflow Flight
Head to 41.95, 67.3 in the Waking Shores and complete the Emberflow Flight advanced race with a gold rating.
Tips
Fly close to the edges of the golden rings rather than through the center to shave off small amounts of time across the course.
Use Surge Forward to build Thrill of the Skies before activating Skyward Ascent or other dragonriding abilities, as Thrill of the Skies significantly increases their effectiveness.
Pick up green swirl charge orbs along the course whenever they don't require going far off the racing line, as each one restores a dragonriding charge.
Reducing your graphics clutter settings such as trees and ground detail can improve your framerate; targeting 60 fps or higher noticeably improves race control.
