Track Achievement Progress

Open your Achievement panel by pressing 'Y' in-game, then navigate to Professions > Fishing > Fish to track your current progress toward the 500 items required.

Fish Anywhere Until Complete

Fish in any zone — Borean Tundra is a confirmed location where this achievement can be completed — and note that non-fish items such as Tattered Cloth pulled from the water also count toward the 500 total.

Avoid Charm Double-Count Assumption

Using the Ancient Pandaren Fishing Charm to catch 2 items at once still counts as only 1 toward this achievement, so do not rely on it to double your progress.
