Complete the storyline listed below.

A Means to an End is the 6th chapter of the Secrets of the First Ones campaign in Zereth Mortis, completed through a short questchain that begins with Pelagos in Haven and is required for the meta-achievement Unlocking the Secrets, which rewards Zereth Mortis flying.

Start with Pelagos in Haven

Find Pelagos at 35.46, 65.05 in Haven and accept the opening quest Something Wonderful to begin the A Means to an End questchain.

Speak to Firim

Travel to Firim at 34.21, 48.29 and complete the quest Music of the Spheres.

Complete Pocopoc Quests

Speak to Pocopoc at 34.12, 47.39 to pick up What a Long Strange Trip, then follow the chain through Pop Goes the Devourer! at 47.19, 29.30, Borrowed Power at 47.16, 29.40, and finally Match Made in Zereth Mortis at 50.78, 31.51 to complete the chapter.

Tips

  • Before Pocopoc will offer the quest at the Ultimus Locus, you must have activated all Alcove teleport points underneath the Cosmic power bar — taking a shortcut to the location will not allow you to proceed until all points are discovered.

  • This chapter is no longer time-gated, so it can be completed immediately upon reaching the required Renown level for Chapter 6.

  • Completing this chain on one character grants Zereth Mortis flying to all your alts as well.
