Damnation Aviation

Enter the Sepulcher of the First Ones and fight your way to the Jailer (Zovaal). The entire achievement takes place in Phase 1, which lasts roughly 3 minutes before Phase 2 begins.

The Jailer applies 3 debuffs at a time called Rune of Damnation. When the debuff expires, it launches you upward into the air. There are exactly 6 sets of runes in Phase 1, and there are exactly 6 Progenitor Orbs to collect — one per set.

The 6 Progenitor Orbs float high above the arena in the outer segments of the room. The orbs are only visible while the Rune of Damnation debuffs are active. Placing world markers above each orb location is recommended to track them clearly.

Stand between the 3 holes in each of the 6 outer room segments and position yourself on the line on the ground next to a hole. When the debuff expires, you will be launched upward and backward, so face away from the orb and step to the edge of the hole, then jump first and press forward while airborne to steer into the orb.

Aim to collect at least 1 orb per set of Rune of Damnation. A safe method is to have all 3 players who are debuffed walk into the 3 holes near the same orb, giving multiple attempts on the same orb each round. Multiple players can jump into the same hole to provide a backup attempt on any orb.

Do not spin your camera too quickly while airborne, as this will eject you to the opposite side and cause you to miss the orb. If soloing, you must keep pillars active to avoid Relentless Domination, which will despawn the boss if it connects. Missing any orb requires a full restart, as there are exactly 6 orbs and exactly 6 launches.

Once all 6 Progenitor Orbs are collected during Phase 1, continue the encounter and defeat the Jailer to complete the Damnation Aviation achievement.
