Defeat the Guardian of the First Ones after enlightening and defeating Vazzaren the Seeker in the Sanctum of Domination in Normal difficulty or higher.
Knowledge is Power is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating the Guardian of the First Ones after enlightening and killing Vazzaren the Seeker in the Sanctum of Domination on Normal difficulty or higher.
Locate Vazzaren the Seeker
As you enter the Guardian of the First Ones room, look to your left to find Vazzaren the Seeker. He will respawn alongside the boss if you wipe, so there is no need to worry about losing him between attempts.
Pull Vazzaren Before Engaging
Taunt Vazzaren the Seeker and bring him across the bridge before starting the boss encounter. Keep him to the side during the early fight to avoid cleave damage from the Guardian of the First Ones.
Interrupt Harrowing Blast
Vazzaren the Seeker casts Harrowing Blast, which must be interrupted to prevent a knockback. He also drops swirling ground effects that will knock players out of safe zones, so avoid standing in them.
Enlighten Vazzaren in the Core
When the Guardian of the First Ones triggers the first Radiant Energy phase, move both the boss and Vazzaren the Seeker into the Energy Core's Radiant Energy field at the same time. After approximately 20 seconds, Vazzaren the Seeker will gain the Enlightened buff and heal to full health.
Kill Vazzaren Then Boss
Once Vazzaren the Seeker is Enlightened, kill him to earn credit for the achievement, then finish the Guardian of the First Ones as normal.
Tips
This achievement becomes easier with higher item level, as the encounter is a gear check and scales down in difficulty over time.
