Defeat Soulrender Dormazain after /taunting Garrosh Hellscream before combat begins and avoiding all Torment impacts in the Sanctum of Domination on Normal difficulty or higher.

Tormentor's Tango is a 10-point achievement earned by defeating Soulrender Dormazain in the Sanctum of Domination after /taunting Garrosh Hellscream before combat and ensuring every raid member avoids all Torment impacts.

Taunt Garrosh Hellscream

Before engaging Soulrender Dormazain, target Garrosh Hellscream and type /taunt in chat. Every member of the raid must do this to receive the Hellscream's Burden debuff, which applies a 20% movement speed slow.

Avoid All Torment Hits

During the fight, all players must avoid taking direct damage from Torment impacts — the drain damage leading up to the hit does not fail the achievement, only the final impact does. Watch for the safe zone by looking opposite Soulrender Dormazain and moving to the area where Torment is not forming.

Survive Tormented Eruptions

Tormented Eruptions require all players to reposition up to 5 times total; group movement abilities such as Stampeding Roar are especially useful here to compensate for the 20% slow from Hellscream's Burden.

Defeat Soulrender Dormazain

Kill Soulrender Dormazain before the achievement conditions are broken; at higher gear levels it is possible to solo this on Normal difficulty and kill the boss before the Tormented Eruption phase escalates.

Tips

  • This achievement is soloable at max level on Normal difficulty — enter the Sanctum of Domination and nuke Soulrender Dormazain down fast enough to end the fight before multiple Tormented Eruptions occur.

  • There is no minimum group size required; the achievement has been completed with as few as 9 players and is presumed soloable.
