No Doubt
Defeat a boss without ever killing or interrupting any of the Mawsworn Doubtcaller's spells while the Torment "Backup" is active during a single run in Torghast, Tower of the Damned.
No Doubt requires you to defeat the final boss of Torghast, Tower of the Damned while the Torment 'Backup' is active, without ever killing or interrupting the Mawsworn Doubtcaller's spells.
Wait for Backup Torment
Torments are fixed per wing each day and reset with daily quests. Enter any Torghast wing and check your active Torment — if 'Backup' is not listed, return the following day and check again.
Enter on Layer 12 or Higher
Once 'Backup' is active, enter the wing on at least Layer 12. The achievement references the very last boss of the tower, not a floor boss encountered along the way.
Avoid All Interrupts and CC
During the final boss fight, the Mawsworn Doubtcaller will spawn alongside the boss with roughly 25% of the boss's HP. Do not interrupt, crowd-control, or fear the Mawsworn Doubtcaller — even using CC like Fear counts as interrupting its casts and will void the achievement.
Strike the Doubtcaller Yourself
You must deal at least one point of personal damage to the Mawsworn Doubtcaller — pet damage does not count toward achievement credit, so land at least one direct hit with your own abilities.
Focus the Boss, Avoid Cleave
Move the boss roughly 20 yards away from the Mawsworn Doubtcaller to reduce splash damage hitting it. Single-target the final boss and avoid anima powers or passive abilities that trigger interrupts, such as DK Death Grip, Paladin's passive shield, or DK Ghoul passive attacks on the Doubtcaller.
Kill the Boss, Leave the Add
Defeat the final boss without killing the Mawsworn Doubtcaller. Because the boss does not regenerate health and dying does not reset the attempt, you can take your time and whittle the boss down safely, or bring a partner to help if needed.
Tips
If you are unsure which is the 'boss' the achievement refers to, it is the very last boss of the full tower run, not any of the floor bosses encountered on the way up.
Disable or swap out any anima powers that trigger automatic interrupts before the final boss encounter to avoid accidentally voiding the achievement.
