Collect 15 unique pets.

Plenty of Pets requires you to collect 15 unique non-combat pets, counting each individual pet (including different colors of the same species) as a separate pet toward the total.

1

Buy Alliance Vendor Pets

Alliance players can purchase Cats (Bombay, Silver, Orange, Cornish) from Donni Anthania in Elwynn Forest, Moths (Blue, White, Yellow) from Sixx in The Exodar, and Owls (Hawk, Great) from Shylenai in Darnassus — these vendors alone offer 9 pets toward your 15-pet goal.

2

Use Neutral Auction Houses

Horde and Alliance pets sold by faction vendors can be purchased by the opposite faction through the Steamwheedle Cartel neutral auction houses in Booty Bay, Gadgetzan, and Everlook, making Cats, Moths, Dragonhawks, and Snakes available to all players regardless of faction.

3

Expand Beyond Vendor Pets

Additional pets can be obtained from rare drops, the WoW Trading Card Game, holiday events, and other sources to reach the 15 pets required for this achievement.

Tips

  • Each color variant of a pet family counts as a separate pet toward the 15 total — for example, Blue Dragonhawk, Golden Dragonhawk, and Silver Dragonhawk each count individually.

  • Pets are learned as permanent spells from a one-time-use item, so you do not need to carry the pet item in your bags after learning it.
