Complete all of the following special encounters in The Maw.
It's About Sending a Message is a 10-point achievement in The Maw that requires defeating 5 of the 19 available special encounters scattered across the zone.
Locate Special Encounter Bosses
There are 19 special encounter bosses spread across The Maw, each marked with a small skull icon on the map. A bonus quest automatically appears when you approach one of these encounters.
Defeat Five Encounter Bosses
You only need to defeat 5 of the 19 available bosses to complete the achievement. Three confirmed bosses are Drifting Sorrow in the Planes of Torment at 33.2, 21.2, Dartanos in the Tremaculum at 26.0, 15.0, and Razkazzar in Calcis at 26.8, 37.2.
Track Encounter Availability
Some encounters may not be active depending on which assault is currently occurring in The Maw, so if a boss is not present at its location, check back after the next world quest reset.
Tips
Killing these bosses rewards Stygia and has a rare chance to drop Maw lore used for the Deciphering Death's Intentions quest.
The Jailer's stacking debuff will eventually kill you if you stay in The Maw too long, making it impossible to clear all 19 in a single session — focus on just the 5 needed for the achievement per visit.
