Clear Conscience
Defeat Sire Denathrius after removing Burden of Sin from all players before March of the Penitent is cast in Castle Nathria on Normal difficulty or higher.
Clear Conscience requires defeating Sire Denathrius in Castle Nathria on Normal difficulty or higher after removing all stacks of Burden of Sin from every player before March of the Penitent is cast.
Enter Castle Nathria
Enter Castle Nathria on Normal difficulty or higher and engage Sire Denathrius. On pull, every player receives 4 stacks of Burden of Sin automatically.
Remove Burden of Sin stacks
Sire Denathrius casts Cleansing Pain up to 6 times in Phase 1, a frontal cone aimed at the current tank. Stand in front of Denathrius to get hit by each cast, which removes 1 stack of Burden of Sin per hit. All 4 stacks must be removed from every player before the boss reaches 70% health, at which point he casts March of the Penitent and Phase 1 ends.
Track achievement criteria
The achievement tracker text will turn from red to white once all Burden of Sin stacks have been removed from all players, confirming the criteria have been met.
Defeat Sire Denathrius
Once the achievement criteria are satisfied and the tracker turns white, damage Denathrius to 70% to trigger his push, then continue into Phase 2 and defeat him to complete the achievement.
Tips
As of patch 11.0.5, solo attempts only require removing 1 stack of Burden of Sin rather than 4, making this significantly easier to complete alone.
If running with a full group, coordinate so all players receive hits from all required Cleansing Pain casts before Denathrius reaches 70%, as having the entire raid take damage simultaneously increases the Blood Price healing burden.
