Hooked On Hydroponics
Defeat Ingra Maloch after defeating an Overgrown Hydra in the Mists of Tirna Scithe on Mythic difficulty.
Hooked On Hydroponics requires you to defeat an Overgrown Hydra during the Ingra Maloch encounter in Mists of Tirna Scithe on Mythic difficulty by growing a Hydra Seed using the boss's own Tears of the Forest ability.
Unlock The Seed Room
On the path to Ingra Maloch, a root wall blocks access to a hidden grove containing Hydra Seeds. A Night Fae covenant member must open this wall, though players with the Herbalism profession may also be able to open it without a Night Fae present.
Carry A Hydra Seed
Pick up one Hydra Seed from the grove. Note that mounting or using abilities will cause you to drop the seed, but you can pick it back up and continue carrying it to the boss room.
Plant The Seed
Once inside Ingra Maloch's room, use your extra action button to plant the Hydra Seed on the ground, then pull Ingra Maloch on top of it.
Water The Seed With Tears
During the fight, Droman Ingra Maloch periodically casts Tears of the Forest, which creates blue swirlies on the ground. Position the seed so these swirlies land on it — the first hit makes the seed grow larger, and after a second hit it spawns an Overgrown Hydra. Having multiple players stack near the seed can help ensure the swirlies connect.
Kill Hydra Then Boss
Once the Overgrown Hydra spawns, kill it before killing Ingra Maloch to complete the achievement.
