Best Bud With Benefits
Earn Stonehead's friendship in Revendreth.
Best Bud With Benefits is a 5-point achievement in Revendreth that requires earning the friendship of Stonehead, a large stone guardian blocking the entrance to the Ember Ward.
Pick Up Hollow Rock
Find the Hollow Rock just inside the Ember Ward gate, to the left of Stonehead. There are two spawn locations: one at 38, 64 and one at 40.2, 65.6. Pick it up and wear it as a disguise — this makes the Chewed Light Shard nearby interactable.
Grab Chewed Light Shard
While wearing the Hollow Rock disguise, pick up the Chewed Light Shard at 39, 65, right beside Stonehead. This starts the quest Snacks for Stonehead.
Collect Gooey Bug Bites
Kill Ravenous Swarms at 37, 65 in the Ember Ward to collect Gooey Bug Bites for the quest.
Collect Ash Crisps
Kill Ash Crawlers at 31, 61 in the Ember Ward to collect Ash Crisps for the quest.
Collect Mirror Candy
Travel to the Shrouded Asylum at 26, 52 and kill the mobs there to collect Mirror Candy for the quest.
Collect A Light Snack
Pick up a Remnant of Light at 32, 60 in the Ember Ward to obtain the item called A Light Snack for the quest.
Turn In Quest to Stonehead
Remove the Hollow Rock disguise and approach Stonehead at the Ember Ward gate. Let him pick you up, then talk to him to turn in Snacks for Stonehead. After the turn-in, Stonehead's behavior changes permanently and you can pass through the gate freely, completing the achievement.
Tips
Do not remove the Hollow Rock disguise before picking up the Chewed Light Shard — the shard is only interactable while you are wearing it.
After completing Snacks for Stonehead, you can speak to Stonehead without the Hollow Rock disguise and pass through his gate without needing it again.
