Realm First! Grand Master Angler
First person on the realm to achieve 450 skill in fishing.
Realm First! Grand Master Angler is awarded to the first player on a realm to reach 450 fishing skill, requiring you to purchase Grand Master Fishing in Northrend and then fish continuously for several hours before anyone else does.
Reach Valgarde Docks
Take the ship from Menethil Harbor to Northrend. Note that jumping off the ship before it enters the tunnel and swimming to shore is faster than riding it all the way in.
Train Grand Master Fishing
Find the Grand Master Fisherman trainer at the docks in Valgarde and purchase the Grand Master Fishing skill upgrade immediately upon arrival.
Fish to 450 Skill
Travel to any fishing location — players have reached 450 in Azuremyst Isle — and fish continuously for approximately four to five hours until the skill cap is reached.
Tips
Stock +100 fishing lures before launch by completing the Outland fishing daily in advance, giving you a significant head start on skill gain.
