It's Not A Tumor!
Destroy 100 Corruption Tumors in Uldum or Vale of Eternal Blossoms during Black Empire Assaults.
"It's Not A Tumor!" is a 10-point achievement earned by destroying 100 Corruption Tumors in Uldum or Vale of Eternal Blossoms while a Black Empire Assault is active.
Activate Black Empire Assault
Wait for a Black Empire Assault to be active in Uldum or Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Pick up the Cleansing Uldum quest in Uldum but do not hand it in — it keeps the assault active for farming. Note that the quest drops automatically at daily reset, so plan accordingly.
Use Sliver of N'Zoth
Equip or use the
N'lyeth, Sliver of N'Zoth before farming. This makes all NPCs neutral, allowing you to fly directly from tumor to tumor and click them without pulling any mobs.
Farm Tumors in Uldum
Uldum is strongly preferred over Vale. The rice field under the bridge area around 55, 51 in the Akhenet Fields is the highest-density spot, with additional clusters along the river and in the area above the bridge. There are roughly 17 spawn points near the Lost City of the Tol'vir. Cover the full circuit using these verified tumor locations: 57.23, 28.88 — 57.61, 30.42 — 57.41, 32.37 — 56.74, 34.04 — 55.74, 31.44 — 54.69, 31.99 — 53.45, 31.86 — 52.30, 33.87 — 51.97, 30.77 — 50.52, 32.21 — 50.28, 28.66 — 49.25, 27.57 — 48.14, 28.43 — 47.58, 26.49 — 46.33, 26.99 — 45.24, 27.15 — 43.88, 26.28 — 42.96, 27.55 — 44.45, 28.37 — 45.00, 29.77 — 47.21, 29.67 — 47.78, 30.68 — 46.9, 31.56 — 49.00, 33.40 — 49.67, 33.77 — 49.83, 35.65 — 47.42, 35.53 — 48.83, 36.04 — 46.82, 36.8 — 46.13, 38.76 — 46.63, 41.15 — 47.53, 40.06.
Let Tumors Respawn
Do not kill the three NPCs surrounding each tumor. If the mobs are left alive, tumors respawn in the exact same spots approximately every 3 minutes — which is roughly the time it takes to complete one full circuit. Farming late at night when other players are not disturbing mobs results in the cleanest respawn cycle, with rates up to around 340 tumors per hour possible.
Avoid the Final Boss
Do not kill the final assault boss at any point during your farming session. You do not need to be in a raid group to preserve assault progress — simply avoiding the final boss kill is enough to keep the assault and tumor spawns active.
Use Vale as a Fallback
If the assault is only active in Vale of Eternal Blossoms, farming is still possible but significantly slower. Additional tumor spawn locations in Vale can be found at 85.9, 40.8 — 85, 36.7 — 84.4, 48.4 — 82.9, 57 — 81.6, 51 — 81.2, 41 — 79.3, 43.6 — 78.4, 46.6 — 77.5, 53.4 — 77.1, 23.2 — 73, 21.1 — 71.6, 57 — 70.4, 32.5 — 70.1, 21.5 — 69.7, 24.4 — 69.1, 18.8 — 68.8, 46.1 — 67.6, 54.3 — 66, 47.4 — 65.2, 27.4 — 62, 33.1 — 61.4, 44.7 — 59.5, 39.6 — 59.2, 32 — 58.9, 44.5 — 60.5, 58.7 — 58.5, 60.7 — 51.6, 49.6.
Tips
Uldum is far faster than Vale — one player recorded 700 tumors in 1.5 hours in Uldum versus only 300 tumors in 3 hours in Vale.
With the Sliver of N'Zoth active and mobs undisturbed, completing 100 tumors takes approximately 3 hours on a memorized circuit in Uldum.
