Pet Battle Challenge: Blackrock Depths is a pet battle dungeon that awards the Shadowy Disguise toy upon completion.
Pick Up Prerequisite Quest
Before entering, you must complete the Stratholme and Gnomeregan pet dungeons first. Then pick up the quest Shadowy Showdown from Tizzy Gearjolt at 50, 46.8 in Boralus Harbour (Alliance) or from Radek Fuselock at 56.2, 31 in Dazar'alor (Horde). Without this quest, Burt Macklyn at Blackrock Depths will have no dialogue to start the dungeon.
Enter and Complete the Dungeon
Travel to Blackrock Depths and speak to Burt Macklyn to begin the pet battle dungeon. Several encounters use survival mechanics, including Apocalypse countdowns and healing-based fights, so the dungeon will take longer than average to complete.
Claim Your Title Reward
After defeating the dungeon, speak to Tasha Riley inside and choose 'Join the Council of Chaos' to receive the bonus title: Minion of Mayhem.
Tips
You can check your weekly dungeon completion status by running a macro that queries quest IDs, including quest 14020 for Blackrock Depths.
