Heritage of the Mechagnome
Earn level 50 on a newly created mechagnome character.
Heritage of the Mechagnome requires you to level a newly created Mechagnome character to level 50, then complete a short quest to claim the Mechagnome Heritage Armor.
Level Your Mechagnome to 50
Create a new Mechagnome character and level it to 50. Note that if you create a Mechagnome Death Knight, it starts in ICC rather than Mechagnome City, which means the prerequisite quest 'Allied Races: Mechagnome' may not automatically trigger.
Handle the DK Prerequisite Bug
If you created a Mechagnome Death Knight and the heritage quest does not appear at level 50, travel to the Stormwind Embassy at 54.4, 15.4 in Stormwind and use the Mechagon City Teleporter at 48.6, 8.8 behind the embassy to reach Mechagon City and pick up the 'Allied Races: Mechagnome' quest. Return to Stormwind, find the Mechagnome NPC near the hero board, and complete the quest. Log out and back in, and the 'Heritage of the Mechagnome' quest will appear.
Turn In the Heritage Quest
Once you hit level 50 and the 'Heritage of the Mechagnome' quest appears, go to the Stormwind Embassy at 54.4, 15.4 and use the Mechagon City Teleporter at 48.6, 8.8 behind the embassy. This ports you directly in front of the Prince, where you can turn in the quest and receive your Mechagnome Heritage Armor.
Tips
If doing this in Remix or on a level 60 class trial character, accept the quest and immediately use the Mechagon City Teleporter at 48.6, 8.8 behind the Stormwind Embassy to turn it in — the entire process takes under a minute.
