You Can Pet the Dog, But...
Defeat Shad'har the Insatiable in Ny'alotha, the Waking City after having everyone /pet him on Normal difficulty or higher.
You Can Pet the Dog, But... requires every living raid member to /pet Shad'har the Insatiable in Ny'alotha, the Waking City on Normal difficulty or higher, receiving the Bitten Hand debuff before the boss is defeated.
Enter on Normal Difficulty
Enter Ny'alotha, the Waking City on Normal difficulty or higher and make your way to Shad'har the Insatiable. This is soloable at max level.
Begin the Fight
Pull Shad'har the Insatiable and reduce his HP, but do not kill him yet.
Type /pet on Shad'har
Target Shad'har and type /pet in chat. He will apply the Bitten Hand debuff to you. Shad'har applies this debuff one player at a time with a short cooldown between applications, so keep attempting /pet throughout the fight until the debuff appears on your character.
Confirm All Players Debuffed
Every player who is alive must have the Bitten Hand debuff before the boss dies. Any living player without the debuff will cause the achievement to fail.
Defeat Shad'har
Once all living players have the Bitten Hand debuff, defeat Shad'har the Insatiable to complete the achievement.
Tips
The number of players in the raid does not matter as long as every living player present has the Bitten Hand debuff when Shad'har dies.
Because Shad'har applies Bitten Hand one player at a time with a cooldown, keep /petting him repeatedly throughout the fight rather than attempting it all at once.
