Hertz Locker
Within a single lockout, defeat all bosses in Operation: Mechagon and prevent the destruction of all non-robotic life on Azeroth without any player dying on Mythic difficulty.
Hertz Locker is earned by defeating all bosses in Operation: Mechagon on Mythic difficulty without any player dying, while activating Hard Mode by defeating each of the first three bosses with the HK-8 Aerial Oppression Unit hovering above them.
Activate Hard Mode
When you enter the dungeon, the HK-8 Aerial Oppression Unit hovers over one of the first three bosses. To activate Hard Mode, you must defeat all three of those bosses while the HK-8 Aerial Oppression Unit is positioned above each of them, rather than routing around it as normal.
Handle Walkie Shockie X1 Robots
With Hard Mode active, Walkie Shockie X1 robots will appear during the first three boss fights. These robots are immune to damage but can be crowd controlled — they follow random players and use Static Discharge, self-destructing upon reaching full energy, so use crowd control to prevent deaths.
Prepare Before First Boss
Complete all required outdoor trash and have every player interact with all buff bots before pulling the first boss, as this avoids the Oppression Unit affecting most trash encounters.
Execute Each Boss Carefully
On Gobbamak, avoid Smash and do not fail on the bots. On Trixie and Naeno, interrupts and clouds must be handled precisely, as a single misfire can cause a death and fail the achievement. On Gunker, use haste cooldowns and free Goops immediately.
Reset Lockout If Someone Dies
If any player dies, you can still finish the dungeon, zone out, and use an alt to create a new lockout. All other party members then zone into the new lockout and you re-enter on your main character to attempt the achievement again. Note that dying on trash also fails the achievement.
Claim Rank 4 from Prince Erazmin
After earning Hertz Locker, speak to Prince Erazmin in Rustbolt to receive Rank 4 of the Vision of Perfection essence for free. This achievement is not account-wide, so each character must earn it separately to receive Rank 4 from Prince Erazmin on that character.
Tips
If you already have Rank 3 of the Vision of Perfection essence, you receive no item reward from completing the dungeon without Hard Mode — Rank 4 is only granted after earning this achievement and speaking to Prince Erazmin.
You can attempt this multiple times within the same weekly lockout by using an alt to generate a fresh lockout instance after a failed attempt.
