The Best of Us
Defeat Queen Azshara in The Eternal Palace with one player still alive who is currently affected by Essence of Azeroth on Normal difficulty or higher.
The Best of Us requires defeating Queen Azshara in The Eternal Palace on Normal difficulty or higher while exactly one player alive carries the Essence of Azeroth buff at the moment of her death.
Enter The Eternal Palace
Enter The Eternal Palace and clear to Queen Azshara. At max level this fight is soloable — click the console to start the encounter, kill the two mini-boss adds that spawn, then nuke Queen Azshara down to around 10% health.
Move to Console and Click
Move to the console and press the Extra Action Button until it disappears — this grants the Essence of Azeroth buff. Kill Queen Azshara immediately before the buff expires to complete the achievement.
If Running with a Group
Bring Queen Azshara to 500k health, then have everyone except two tanks and one healer stand in the Ancient Wards area to gain 10 stacks of Drained Soul and die. The three surviving players then bring the boss to 200k health, stop all damage, use Controlled Release until one player gains the Essence of Azeroth buff, and immediately kill the boss — that one buffed player must be the sole survivor at the moment of the kill.
Tips
Tanks should avoid using the Crucible of Flame Azerite Essence — if the tank without the Essence of Azeroth buff applies an Ancient Flame damage-over-time effect and lands the killing blow, the achievement will fail.
Voice coordination is critical when running this with a group, as the timing of deaths and the killing blow must be precisely managed.
