In the Battle for Stromgarde on Heroic difficulty, the priority order is to Defend first, then gather Resources, then Push — communicate this to your group at the start.
Capture the Mine First
At the start, join the Mine group, capture it immediately, and collect as many metal carts as possible on the way out, aiming to return to base with around 100 metal.
Defend Your Commander
After the first two resource points are captured, lead your group back to your fortress to defend your commander, and direct healers to keep the commander alive.
