M.C., Hammered
Defeat the Tussle Tonks in Operation: Mechagon after Deuce Mecha-Buffer has been hit with a Piston Smasher on Mythic Difficulty.
M.C., Hammered is a 10-point Mythic difficulty achievement earned in Operation: Mechagon by hitting Deuce Mecha-Buffer with a Piston Smasher before defeating the Tussle Tonks, rewarding the Gnomish T.O.O.L.B.O.X. decor item.
Enter on Mythic Difficulty
Enter Operation: Mechagon and set the dungeon to Mythic difficulty before engaging the Tussle Tonks encounter.
Locate Deuce Mecha-Buffer
Deuce Mecha-Buffer stands slightly to the left of the two bosses on the ledge of the arena — do not engage him directly.
Use Gnomercy 4.U. to Knock Down Deuce
Pull Gnomercy 4.U. into the center of the arena and position yourself between Gnomercy and Deuce so that Gnomercy's Maximum Thrust charge knocks Deuce off the ledge and into the arena. Use the second thrust rather than the first, as the first thrust can knock Deuce at an angle and leave him stuck.
Kite Deuce to a Piston Smasher
Once Deuce Mecha-Buffer lands in the arena and becomes hostile, kite him to one of the three Piston Smashers along the side of the ring. Wait for a brown swirl to appear on the ground indicating where the hammer will strike, and position Deuce inside it so he is hit and receives the Piston Smasher debuff.
Kill the Bosses to Complete Achievement
Once Deuce has the Piston Smasher debuff, ignore him and focus on defeating the bosses. The Platinum Pummeler requires being hit by all three hammers to remove his immunity before he can be killed. The achievement completes a few seconds after the last boss dies.
Tips
Avoid letting Gnomercy 4.U. charge into any of the Piston Smashers, as this will destroy them.
