Stay Positive
Defeat King Gobbamak in Operation: Mechagon while the Sacred Gear is charged in Mythic Difficulty.
Stay Positive requires defeating King Gobbamak in Operation: Mechagon on Mythic difficulty while the Sacred Gear above his throne remains charged throughout the entire fight.
Set Mythic Difficulty
Enter Operation: Mechagon and set the dungeon to Mythic difficulty before engaging King Gobbamak.
Understand the Sacred Gear
The Sacred Gear hangs above King Gobbamak's throne and starts charged the moment you pull the boss, indicated by an electrical spark appearing in the middle of the gear. The charge lasts 20 seconds and must never fall off — if it does, it cannot be recharged and the achievement fails.
Burn King Gobbamak Fast
The fastest and most reliable method is to burn King Gobbamak down within the first 20 seconds of the pull using all available cooldowns, before he has a chance to cast Charged Smash. Multiple players have confirmed defeating him in roughly 11 seconds this way, completing the achievement without ever needing to manually recharge the gear.
Recharge if Burn Fails
If the boss is not dead before Charged Smash is cast, one player must run to the throne immediately after being hit by Charged Smash to transfer the Electrical Charge to the Sacred Gear. A second player must preserve their Electrical Charge by avoiding Stolen Scrapbot and Stolen Shock Coil, then move to the gear before the first charge expires, as the cycle must continue uninterrupted.
