Mecha-Safari
Catch every battle pet on Mechagon Island.
Mecha-Safari requires you to catch every battle pet found on Mechagon Island, including pets found in the open world and inside the Operation Mechagon dungeon.
Catch Junkheap Roach
The Junkheap Roach spawns as both a primary and secondary pet near Rustbolt and the industrial areas of Mechagon Island. It can also be caught inside Operation Mechagon dungeon.
Catch Mechagon Marmot
The Mechagon Marmot appears as both a primary and secondary pet and can be found all around the island.
Catch Scrapyard Tunneler
The Scrapyard Tunneler only appears as a secondary pet. Be aware that this pet has an ability that can prevent it from being captured, so be prepared to attempt the battle multiple times.
Catch Rustbolt Clucker
The Rustbolt Clucker only spawns as a primary pet and can be found around the island.
Farm Yellow Junkhopper
The Yellow Junkhopper is a rare primary pet that spawns near the water and shares spawn points with Fleeting Frog. You will need to kill Fleeting Frogs repeatedly to force Yellow Junkhopper spawns, making this one of the harder pets to obtain for this achievement.
Locate Specimen 97
Only one Specimen 97 exists in the world at a time and it is always found in the Scrapbone Den area. It has a short respawn timer and can be accidentally killed by other players before you capture it.
Farm Duskytooth Snooter
The Duskytooth Snooter is a rare spawn that only appears after killing large numbers of Rustyroot Snooter, making it one of the most time-consuming pets required for this achievement.
Catch Dungeon Pets
Several pets including the Motorized Croaker and Experimental Roach can be caught inside Operation Mechagon dungeon. Note that Motorized Croaker has an ability that prevents capture, so the battle may end without a successful catch.
Reset Mythic for Rare Pets
Rare pets inside Operation Mechagon such as the Yellow Junkhopper variant can be obtained by resetting the dungeon on Mythic difficulty, as each reset refreshes pet spawns.
Tips
Malfunctioning Microbot, Motorized Croaker, and Scrapyard Tunneler all have abilities that prevent capture, so factor in multiple attempts when farming these pets.
Resetting Operation Mechagon on Mythic difficulty resets pet spawns inside the dungeon, allowing you to attempt rare dungeon pets multiple times without a weekly lockout restriction.
