I Thought You Said They'd Be Rare? is a 10-point achievement earned in Nazjatar by slaying all of the rare and powerful creatures listed in the achievement.
Slay Alga the Eyeless
Find and kill Alga the Eyeless at 52.59, 42.81 in Nazjatar.
Slay Allseer Oma'kil
Find and kill Allseer Oma'kil at 66.07, 40.43 in Nazjatar.
Slay Amethyst Spireshell
Find and kill Amethyst Spireshell at 47.08, 26.08 in Nazjatar. This rare has multiple spawn points and can drop 
Amethyst Softshell.
Slay Anemonar
Find Anemonar at 58.71, 53.39 in Nazjatar. Kill the Colossal Sky Ray standing on top of the rare before you can engage Anemonar.
Slay Banescale the Packfather
Banescale the Packfather at 73.05, 53.84 in Nazjatar has a chance to spawn only after you kill Siltstalker the Packmother.
Slay Blindlight
Find and kill Blindlight at 37.37, 82.56 in Nazjatar. This rare is located inside a cave.
Slay Caverndark Terror
Find and kill Caverndark Terror at 40.79, 7.35 in Nazjatar inside a cave. It can drop 
Caverndark Nightmare.
Slay Chasm-Haunter
Find and kill Chasm-Haunter at 49.20, 88.75 in Nazjatar. This rare is located inside a cave under a waterfall.
Slay Daggertooth Terror
Find and kill Daggertooth Terror at 57.31, 39.80 in Nazjatar. This rare has multiple spawn points in the Nazjatar water areas.
Add Rares to NPC Scan
NPC Scan may not have all Nazjatar rares in its database. You can add them manually using the /npcscan add commands found in community resources to help detect spawns such as Alga the Eyeless (ID 152415), Amethyst Spireshell (ID 152794), Banescale the Packfather (ID 152361), Caverndark Terror (ID 152464), Daggertooth Terror (ID 152756), and others listed in the achievement.
Tips
Banescale the Packfather will not appear unless Siltstalker the Packmother has been killed first, so prioritize Siltstalker when both are undefeated.
Amethyst Spireshell and Daggertooth Terror each have multiple spawn points, so if they are not at the listed coordinates check nearby areas in Nazjatar.
