Nautical Battlefield Training
Gain 4800 experience with your Unshackled allies.
Nautical Battlefield Training is an achievement that requires you to earn a total of 4800 experience across your Unshackled follower allies in Nazjatar.
Complete Follower Daily Quests
Each daily quest completed with your Unshackled followers awards 100 XP, and each follower level-up requires 300 XP. You need 4800 XP total across all followers, meaning you need to gain 16 follower levels combined — since followers start at level 1, count only levels gained, not current level (a follower at level 10 has gained 9 levels, worth 2700 XP).
Farm Giant Crab Leg
Giant Crab Leg drops from Sandclaw Stoneshell and other crabs west of Gate of the Queen, and awards 50 reputation with Poen Gillbrack or Bladesman Inowari, helping push follower progress faster.
Farm Fathom Ray Wing
Fathom Ray Wing drops from Soundless and rays in the Coral Forest area, awarding 50 reputation with Neri Sharpfin or Hunter Akana.
Farm Eel Filet
Eel Filet drops from Chasm-Haunter and other eels in The Hanging Reef and Deepcoil Tunnels, awarding 50 reputation with Vim Brineheart or Farseer Ori.
Farm Reefwalker Bark
Reefwalker Bark drops from Kelpwillow, Anemonar, Urduu, Oronu, and Murkbloom Reefwalker in The Hanging Reef, awarding 20 reputation with each of your bodyguard followers (60 total per bark).
Find Unusually Wise Hermit Crab
The Unusually Wise Hermit Crab is a random drop that awards 75 reputation with a targeted bodyguard follower, making it one of the most efficient single-item XP sources available.
Track Progress on Alts
This achievement is NOT account-wide and must be completed separately on each character. To track progress on a character that has already completed it on another, use the script /script AddTrackedAchievement(13645) in your chat window.
Tips
The total XP required is 4800, but the community-verified cap across all followers is 6000 XP total, so you will complete the achievement before fully maxing every follower.
When calculating your current progress, subtract one level per follower before multiplying by 300 — a follower at level 5 has gained 4 levels (1200 XP), not 5.
