Gotta Bounce
Defeat the Restless Cabal in Crucible of Storms after having at least 10 Void Crashes active simultaneously in Normal Difficulty or higher.
Gotta Bounce requires you to have at least 10 Void Crashes active simultaneously during the Restless Cabal encounter in Crucible of Storms on Normal difficulty or higher.
Enter Crucible of Storms
Enter Crucible of Storms on Normal difficulty or higher and engage the Restless Cabal. This is soloable at max level.
Run circles, avoid Void Crashes
Continuously run in circles around the room to keep the bouncing Void Crash meteors, cast by Fa'thuul the Feared, moving. Each Void Crash is a large purple meteor that bounces toward your current location, so keep moving to prevent them from hitting you. A speed boost or blink-type ability helps when you are slowed or stunned.
Manage Shear Mind stacks
Fa'thuul applies a stacking debuff called Shear Mind that reduces your stats by 10% per stack. Kill Fa'thuul when stacks reach around 4 to 6 to reset them; he will revive, briefly become stationary, and heal to 20%, giving you time to let stacks fall off before continuing.
Reach 10 simultaneous Void Crashes
Allow Fa'thuul to cast Void Crash until 10 are active at the same time. If you track the achievement, the tracker will turn from red to white once the 10-crash criterion is met. Whittle both bosses down during this phase so you can finish them quickly once the achievement triggers.
Kill both bosses together
Once the achievement tracker turns white, kill both Fa'thuul the Feared and Zax'ath together to complete the encounter and earn Gotta Bounce.
Tips
If you are playing a class that can remove magic debuffs, cleanse Zax'ath's magic debuff to reduce incoming stat loss during the extended Void Crash accumulation phase.
Damage both bosses throughout the fight so they can be finished in one burst once 10 Void Crashes are active simultaneously.
