Craft 50 Junkyard Tinkering items in Mechagon, excluding crates.

Junkyard Scavenger requires you to craft 50 Junkyard Tinkering items in Mechagon, and progress is tracked only on qualifying crafted items — Spare Parts crates do not count toward the total.

1

Choose your crafting method

The most resource-efficient option is Canned Minnows, which costs 25 Spare Parts and 3 Ionized Minnow each — fish are easy to obtain using the tool from the Mechagon fishing NPC. If fishing is not an option, craft Scrap Grenades at 50 Spare Parts each, or Rustbolt Requisitions at 100 Spare Parts each, which always return 10–20 Spare Parts and can drop Paint Vial: Copper Trim (blueprint from the Reclamation Rig event).

2

Clear bag space efficiently

Craft an Emergency Powerpack to clear out accumulated Energy Cells and Empty Energy Cells from your bags, and note that each of these crafts also counts toward your 50-craft total.

3

Use incidental crafts for progress

Personal Time Displacer, Armored Vaultbot Key, and Anti-Gravity Pack are all naturally crafted during normal Mechagon play and contribute to the 50-craft count. Additionally, Rustbolt Resistance Insignia counts toward the achievement, which is useful when farming paragon chests or gaining reputation on an alt.

Tips

  • S.P.A.R.E. Crates do NOT count toward the 50-craft requirement — avoid spending Spare Parts on them expecting progress.

  • This achievement is naturally completed while working toward Exalted with Rustbolt Resistance for the Mecha-Done meta-achievement, so there is no need to rush it separately.
