Snow Fun Allowed
Build a Frosty Snowmon then destroy it before defeating Lady Jaina Proudmoore in the Battle of Dazar'alor on Normal Difficulty or higher.
Snow Fun Allowed is a 10-point achievement earned in the Battle of Dazar'alor by building a Frosty Snowmon and destroying it before defeating Lady Jaina Proudmoore on Normal difficulty or higher.
Requires Three Players
This achievement cannot be completed solo because each player can only carry one snowflake, and three snowflakes are required. You must run this with at least three players participating in the snowflake collection.
Collect Snow During Intermission
During the first intermission phase called Howling Winds, send three players into the main boss room to find the snow mounds, which appear as small white splashes spread across the area. Walk through each snow mound and a small visual snowflake will follow your character — no buff or debuff is applied, only the visual effect.
Do Not Interrupt Jaina Yet
Do not interrupt Lady Jaina Proudmoore until all three players have collected a snow mound and have their snowflake visual. Interrupting her too early will advance the phase before collection is complete.
Stack Near a Barrel
After interrupting Jaina to advance the phase, the three players carrying snowflakes should stack together near one of the unexploded barrels. Stacking in this way creates the Frosty Snowmon.
Destroy the Frosty Snowmon
Have a player use Broadside on the barrel to cause it to explode. The explosion removes the Refractive Ice and causes the Frosty Snowmon to melt, completing the achievement criteria. This must all happen before Lady Jaina Proudmoore is defeated.
Tips
On Normal difficulty, both Lady Jaina and the snow mound locations remain in the same positions across attempts, allowing you to run directly to previously found mounds on subsequent tries.
If a player carrying a snowflake gets frozen into a block of ice, their snowflake does not disappear, so have the raid break them free and continue.
