Deforester
Embody every Horde Hero in the Battle for Darkshore.
Deforester requires you to embody every Horde Hero in the Battle for Darkshore Warfront by using the three vehicle buffs granted at the Altar of Storms.
Build the Altar of Storms
Do not attempt to farm vehicle buffs before the Altar of Storms is completed — no vehicle buffs are available until it is built.
Claim a vehicle buff
Once the Altar of Storms is complete, it offers 4 choices: a personal buff or one of three vehicles, all of which count toward the achievement. You have 10 minutes per vehicle buff, and you can cancel it early by right-clicking the buff without losing progress toward the achievement.
Get the AzerMEK Prototype first
Take the AzerMEK Prototype vehicle first, as it excels at killing mobs quickly, which helps you generate Essence of Storms drops needed to claim additional vehicle buffs in subsequent turns.
Farm night elf mobs for essences
Kill night elf themed mobs exclusively — ignore rares and forest creatures entirely, as killing rares across many runs yields nothing while night elf mobs produce essences rapidly. A strong farming spot is south of Bashal'aran, southwest of the mine, where a prison camp of night elf sentinels spawns away from other players.
Prioritize killing blows on packs
Essences are tied to killing blows, so focus on packs of 10 or more night elf mobs and secure as many killing blows as possible. Packs that spawn from the enemy base are ideal; not all of them appear on the map, so patrol the area to find them.
Tips
This achievement may require up to 3 Warfront runs since each run can realistically yield only one vehicle buff at the Altar of Storms.
If other players in the same run are competing for the same vehicle buffs at the Altar of Storms, the RNG for being selected increases the number of runs needed.
