Better, Faster, Stronger

Travel to the Crimson Forest area of Drustvar and begin searching for Mysterious Brew bottles. The heaviest concentration of bottle spawns is found around at 24.66, 58.38 and spreading inward toward at 19.19, 54.19, at 19.97, 54.62, at 20.02, 55.05, and at 20.46, 53.07. Note that bottles are not personal loot — anyone in the area can loot them.

Loot Mysterious Brew bottles scattered across the area to receive a random Witch's Boon buff (Excellence, Extra Pep, Rage, or Fortitude) or a Witch's Curse debuff. Each buff lasts 5 minutes. Additional bottle spawn locations include at 18.83, 56.81, at 18.98, 53.61, at 19.0, 58.28, at 19.02, 59.22, at 19.88, 57.35, at 19.98, 55.15, at 20.43, 55.32, at 20.83, 54.54, at 21.17, 57.45, at 21.42, 58.11, at 21.45, 57.34, and at 23.98, 56.35 where one bottle spawns inside a trunk and a second outside it. You can receive the same buff multiple times, which does not stack progress, so loot as fast as possible to collect all four distinct buffs before they expire.

Once you hold all four Witch's Boon buffs, loot another bottle hoping to receive the Witch's Curse: Newt debuff. Be aware that receiving any Witch's Curse debuff has a chance to remove one of your active Witch's Boon buffs, which can force you to start over. Additional bottle locations to check during this phase include at 22.12, 54.74, at 23.01, 49.61, at 23.17, 58.45, at 18.85, 58.40, at 20.5, 53.04, at 21.78, 52.76, at 23.01, 55.62, and at 23.52, 53.56. Druids must be in their normal (non-shapeshifted) form, as polymorph immunity from certain forms will block the Witch's Curse: Newt from applying.

When moving between bottle locations near the outer edges of the Crimson Forest, avoid straying too close to the Drustvar zone boundary, as crossing it will cause your Witch's Boon buffs to drop. Travel in a roughly straight line between spawn points such as at 28.0, 58.0 and at 22.0, 56.0 rather than looping wide around the perimeter.
