Level 80 (Legacy) is an achievement earned by reaching level 80 prior to the Shadowlands expansion, requiring 1,337,000 XP to progress from level 79 to 80.
Reach Level 80
Accumulate enough XP to reach level 80, with the final stretch from 79 to 80 requiring 1,337,000 XP. Upon reaching level 80, Rhonin of Dalaran sends a congratulatory letter in the mail along with a gift containing potions and fireworks.
