Watch Him Die
Defeat Krik'thir the Gatewatcher in Azjol-Nerub on Heroic Difficulty while Watcher Gashra, Watcher Narji, and Watcher Silthik are still alive.
Watch Him Die is a 10-point Heroic difficulty achievement earned in Azjol-Nerub by defeating Krik'thir the Gatewatcher while all three Watchers — Watcher Gashra, Watcher Narji, and Watcher Silthik — remain alive.
Enter Azjol-Nerub Heroic
Enter Azjol-Nerub on Heroic difficulty and clear toward Krik'thir the Gatewatcher without killing the three Watchers: Watcher Gashra, Watcher Narji, and Watcher Silthik.
Separate the Watchers from the Boss
Pull all three Watcher packs away from Krik'thir and kite them toward the entrance tunnel — the Watchers move very slowly, giving ample time to kill the boss before they return. A Paladin with rocket boots can hold aggro on all three Watchers at the entrance while the rest of the group kills Krik'thir, and Bubble can be used to drop and re-establish aggro if needed.
Manage Watcher Abilities
Cleanse Infected Bite immediately as it deals damage on hit and on each tick. Attack the web immediately when a player is hit by Web Wrap to break the stun. Interrupt Watcher Narji's Blinding Webs cast with a stun to prevent the 5-second party-wide disorient, and cleanse Watcher Silthik's Poison Spray — a poison cleansing totem is strongly recommended for this.
Defeat Krik'thir the Gatewatcher
Nuke Krik'thir the Gatewatcher before the Watchers reach the group. All three Watchers must still be alive when Krik'thir dies for the achievement to complete.
Tips
The Watchers can be stunned but cannot be crowd-controlled by shackles, traps, or fears — plan your crowd control accordingly.
An alternative method uses a Balance Druid casting Starfall at the entrance to pull all three Watcher packs and the boss simultaneously, then sprinting back up the tunnel while the tank taunts Krik'thir — see video guide for a visual walkthrough of this approach.
