Parental Controls
Defeat MOTHER in Uldir after entering her secret passcode on Normal difficulty or higher.
Parental Controls is an achievement earned by defeating MOTHER in Uldir on Normal difficulty or higher after entering her secret passcode by clicking the correct sequence of trapezoid buttons in each of her three chambers.
Enter Uldir and Begin Fight
Enter Uldir and engage MOTHER. Once the fight begins, the blue trapezoid panels near the vents in each of her three chambers become clickable.
Find the Correct Button Order
Click one trapezoid in the first room — if it blinks, the sequence is wrong and you must start over from that room; if it turns dark, you have selected the correct button for that room. The order is randomized per attempt and can be any combination such as 1-2-3, 3-1-2, or 2-3-1.
Click Buttons in Remaining Rooms
After a trapezoid in the first room goes dark, move to the second and third rooms and click one trapezoid in each, following the same logic — dark means correct, blinking means restart the sequence from the beginning.
Defeat MOTHER for Achievement
Once all three trapezoids across the three rooms have turned dark, the passcode is complete — kill MOTHER to earn the Parental Controls achievement.
Tips
Each room has two trapezoids but both buttons in the same room behave identically, so only one click per room is needed to test that room's position in the sequence.
The code can be as straightforward as rooms 1-2-3 in order, so you can work through it solo without coordination; see the video guide for a visual walkthrough.
