Northrend Dungeon Hero
Complete the Northrend Heroic dungeon achievements listed below.
Northrend Dungeon Hero requires you to complete every heroic dungeon achievement in Northrend by defeating every boss in each of the 12 heroic instances, rewarding a combined total of 140 Achievement Points across all sub-achievements.
Enter The Nexus and Oculus
Both The Nexus and The Oculus are located in Borean Tundra at 28.32, 28.98. Enter each on Heroic and defeat every boss. Note that Ley-Guardian Eregos in The Oculus is fought on a drake, so your character's item level has little effect on that fight.
Clear Ahn'kahet and Azjol-Nerub
Both Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom and Azjol-Nerub are found in Dragonblight at 26.34, 50.41. The entrance to Ahn'kahet is to the left of the meeting stone, deeper in the tunnel. Enter both on Heroic and defeat every boss inside.
Complete Violet Hold in Dalaran
Violet Hold is located in Dalaran at 66.33, 67.91 in the southwest wing of the city. Enter on Heroic and defeat every boss.
Clear Halls of Stone and Halls of Lightning
Both Halls of Stone and Halls of Lightning are in The Storm Peaks at 43.7, 26.2, directly west of the meeting stone. Enter each on Heroic and defeat every boss.
Enter Gundrak in Zul'Drak
Gundrak is located in Zul'Drak at 77.21, 21.84. Enter on Heroic and defeat every boss inside.
Clear Drak'Tharon Keep
Drak'Tharon Keep is located in Grizzly Hills. Enter on Heroic and defeat every boss inside.
Clear Utgarde Keep and Utgarde Pinnacle
Both Utgarde Keep and Utgarde Pinnacle are located in Howling Fjord. Enter each on Heroic and defeat every boss inside.
Complete Culling of Stratholme
The Culling of Stratholme is located in Tanaris. Enter on Heroic and defeat every boss inside to finish the final requirement for Northrend Dungeon Hero.
Tips
All 12 heroic dungeons can be soloed at item level 380 or higher at level 85, and no keys are required to enter any Northrend heroic. Be aware of the 5 instances per hour limit when running multiple dungeons back to back.
