Trial by Combat
Win a duel in the Dueler's Guild.
Trial by Combat is a 5-point achievement earned by winning your first duel in the Dueler's Guild, available to level 120 players with War Mode enabled.
Enable War Mode
War Mode must be active on your character before you can participate in the Dueler's Guild. Enable it in your talent screen before heading to your faction's War Headquarters.
Travel to War Headquarters
Alliance players head to Boralus and Horde players head to Zuldazar, where the War Headquarters for each faction is located. The headquarters is marked on the map with your faction's symbol.
Queue at the Bouncers or Troll Guards
Alliance players queue with the Bouncers, while Horde players queue with the Troll Guards. Speak to them to enter the Dueler's Guild queue.
Win a Duel
Defeat your opponent in the duel to earn the Trial by Combat achievement. This is also the first step toward the larger Dueler's Guild progression, which includes achievements such as Slugfest, Contender, and Dueling Master, and ultimately rewards the 
Dueler's Tabard at 50 wins.
