Complete the Battle for Azeroth Mythic dungeon achievements listed below.

Glory of the Wartorn Hero is a Battle for Azeroth meta-achievement worth 25 points that rewards the Reins of the Obsidian Krolusk mount upon completing all required Mythic dungeon achievements across 8 BfA dungeons.

1

Understand the full achievement list

This meta requires completing 14 sub-achievements across 8 Mythic dungeons: Atal'Dazar (It's Lit!, Bringing Hexy Back, Gold Fever), Freehold (Pecking Order, I'm in Charge Now!, That Sweete Booty), Waycrest Manor (Run Wild, Like a Man On Fire, Alchemical Romance), Shrine of the Storm (Breath of the Shrine, The Void Lies Sleeping, Trust No One), The Underrot (Not a Fun Guy, Taint Nobody Got Time For That, Sporely Alive), Temple of Sethraliss (Snake Eyes, Snake Eater, Good Night Sweet Prince), Tol Dagor (Remix to Ignition, Shot Through the Heart), The MOTHERLODE!! (Pitch Invasion, Ready for Raiding VI), Siege of Boralus (Stand by Me, A Fish Out of Water), and King's Rest (It Belongs in a Ma...). Note that Losing My Profession spans both Waycrest Manor and Siege of Boralus and requires mobs from both dungeons.

2

Plan for multiple lockouts

Expect to run Atal'Dazar and Waycrest Manor multiple times across separate lockouts, and potentially Siege of Boralus and Temple of Sethraliss as well, since not all achievements can be completed in a single run of those dungeons.

3

Build the right group composition

An ideal group composition is a tank hybrid class, a Monk with a healing off-spec, a Mage or Hunter, a Death Knight, and a Druid healer with a DPS off-spec. Druid, Monk, and Mage or Hunter are especially valuable for specific achievement mechanics. The Bringing Hexy Back achievement in Atal'Dazar requires a party member to be Hexed, meaning this meta cannot be completed solo.

4

Meet the DPS and gear requirements

An average item level of around 340 with approximately 10, 000 single-target sustained DPS on bosses is sufficient to meet the hard DPS checks in these dungeons. Use available consumables such as Potion of Bursting Blood, flasks, food, and battle runes to reach these thresholds. Having the Druid switch to DPS during hard-check encounters can also help.

5

Track achievement progress per run

Use the in-game achievement tracker to monitor progress on achievements such as Ready for Raiding VI in The MOTHERLODE!!, as this was noted as important to install and use early in the process rather than late.

Tips

  • Losing My Profession requires mobs from both Waycrest Manor and Siege of Boralus, so coordinate which dungeon you visit first to set up the cross-dungeon requirement.
