Baiting the Enemy
Fish up an U'taka within Dazar'alor in Zuldazar.
Baiting the Enemy is a 15-point achievement earned by fishing up a
U'taka from a U'taka school pool located within Dazar'alor in Zuldazar.
Travel to Dazar'alor
As Alliance, travel to at 49.25, 41.55 at the topmost portion of the Temple of the Prophet, then deploy a
Goblin Glider Kit and glide westward toward at 42.83, 41.84. Horde players can ask a guard to point them toward the Alchemy or Inscription trainer, then head north to reach the same area.
Locate the U'taka Pool
Head to at 42.83, 41.84 on the northwest side of the Great Seal, where two adjacent U'taka school pools can spawn — one on each side of the garden area. The pool is in a small pond in the garden near the steps, not in the creek nearby. Fish from the back of the pool with your back to the wall to avoid the golem that patrols past.
Fish Up the U'taka
If a U'taka school pool is present at at 43.4, 43.5 or at 42.83, 41.84, casting into it guarantees a U'taka catch — if no pool is present, do not cast. Alliance players may need to wait up to 15–20 minutes for a pool to spawn after arriving. Catching one U'taka from the pool completes the achievement.
Tips
Alliance players who are not Druids or classes with stealth can use a Goblin Glider Kit from at 49.25, 41.55 to bypass the hostile guards and reach the pool at at 42.83, 41.84 — guide the glider west and avoid the single tree along the flight path.
See the video guide for a visual walkthrough of the Alliance glider approach and pool locations.
