How to Keep a Mummy
Free Miimii the Mummy in Kings' Rest on Mythic difficulty.
How to Keep a Mummy is a 10-point achievement earned in Kings' Rest on Mythic difficulty by freeing Miimii the Mummy during the final boss encounter with King Dazar, rewarding the Miimii pet upon completion.
Enter Kings' Rest Mythic
Set the dungeon to Mythic difficulty and clear through Kings' Rest until you reach King Dazar, the final boss. Do not engage him yet.
Position Players on Stones
Locate the two sarcophagi in the boss room, each with a greenish stone in front of it. Have one player stand on each of the two stones simultaneously before or during the pull.
Wait for Lights to Fill
While players remain on the stones, lights will begin filling up around the base of each stone. Hold the boss and stay on the stones until both sets of lights are fully lit and locked in.
Watch for Sarcophagus Shaking
Once the lights are fully lit, the rightmost sarcophagus will begin to shake, signaling that the condition is met. Kill King Dazar at this point to complete the achievement and receive Miimii.
Solo Method: Use Parked Alt
To solo this on a single account, park an alt (at least level 60) outside Kings' Rest, clear to Dazar on your main, then log into the alt using Alt-F4 or a second game client (not the normal logout menu) and walk them onto one stone. Force-close the alt client and relog your main — the alt's character will remain in the world briefly. Park your main on the second stone and kill the boss once the lights are fully lit.
Tips
If Miimii does not appear in your bags after completing the achievement, place a mailbox and the pet will be delivered there.
For the solo method, a normal logout will not work — the character must be removed from the game forcefully via Alt-F4 or a second game client so the zombie session persists long enough on the stone.
