Breath of the Shrine
Light the ceremonial fires within the temple using the Shrine's Breath in Shrine of the Storm on Mythic difficulty.
Breath of the Shrine is a 10-point Mythic achievement earned in Shrine of the Storm by picking up a blue spirit flame called the Shrine's Breath in the first room and using it to light two braziers in Lord Stormsong's chamber.
Set Mythic Difficulty
Enter Shrine of the Storm on Mythic difficulty. This achievement does not require a group and can be completed solo at max level.
Clear Trash to Lord Stormsong
Clear all trash mobs leading up to Lord Stormsong, the third boss, without killing either of the two bosses before him. Killing the first boss will cause the Shrine's Breath to despawn and become non-interactable.
Return to First Room
Run all the way back to the very first room of the dungeon. There are four pillars in this room; the pillar to your left as you enter has a small interactable candle item called Shrine's Breath.
Pick Up Shrine's Breath
Interact with the Shrine's Breath. It is not a buff or debuff — it appears as a small blue sprite floating above your character. If you take any frost or water damage while carrying it, the Breath is extinguished and lost.
Return to Stormsong's Room
Run back to Lord Stormsong's room without taking any water or frost damage and without engaging any remaining trash mobs. Touching trash that deals frost or water damage will remove the Breath.
Light Both Braziers
In Lord Stormsong's room, there are two small braziers — one on the left side and one on the right side of the boss. Walk on top of the right brazier first, move away without aggroing Lord Stormsong, then walk on top of the left brazier. Both braziers will ignite, and the achievement will complete.
Tips
Clear all trash between the entrance and Lord Stormsong before picking up the Shrine's Breath to eliminate any risk of taking frost or water damage while carrying it.
