Reached level 120 prior to the Shadowlands expansion.
Level 120 (Legacy) is an achievement awarded for reaching level 120 during the Battle for Azeroth expansion, prior to the Shadowlands pre-patch raising the level squish.
Reach Level 120
Level your character to 120 through questing, dungeons, or other content in Battle for Azeroth zones such as Kul Tiras (Alliance) or Zandalar (Horde) to earn this legacy achievement.
Unlock Heroic and Mythic Dungeons
Once at level 120, Heroic dungeons become available with an item level requirement of 305, and Mythic dungeons also unlock for further progression.
Unlock Island Expeditions
Through the War Campaign, unlock 2 out of 3 footholds on the enemy continent while being at least level 116, then queue for Island Expeditions at the Expedition map in the Port of Zandalar at 44.5, 95.3 in Dazar'alor for Horde, or at Boralus Harbor at 66.6, 33.4 in Boralus for Alliance — these scenarios support 1 to 3 players and award Azerite on completion.
Activate World Quests
Reaching level 120 also unlocks World Quests across Battle for Azeroth zones, providing a steady source of rewards and reputation.
