Shattered
Defeat Ignis the Furnace Master in Ulduar after shattering 2 Iron Constructs within 5 seconds.
Shattered requires you to defeat Ignis the Furnace Master in Ulduar after shattering 2 Iron Constructs within 5 seconds of each other.
Enter Ulduar, engage Ignis
Enter Ulduar and tag Ignis the Furnace Master with a weak attack to begin the encounter without killing him quickly. Wait for him to spawn 2 Iron Constructs before dealing significant damage to the boss.
Build Heat stacks on Constructs
Kite both Iron Constructs through the fire pits created by Ignis. Once a Construct accumulates 10 stacks of the Heat debuff, it gains the Molten debuff, which lasts 20 seconds.
Kite Constructs into water
While both Constructs have the Molten debuff active, kite them and Ignis into the water on one side of the arena. Contact with water instantly replaces Molten with the Brittle debuff, making the Constructs nearly killable in one hit.
Shatter both Constructs simultaneously
Use a single weak hit or a wide cleave ability to kill both Brittle Constructs within 5 seconds of each other — a single auto-attack or an area ability like Whirlwind works well. Both Constructs must shatter (explode) to count toward the achievement, so avoid burst spells that may not trigger the shattering effect correctly.
Defeat Ignis to complete
After both Constructs shatter within the 5-second window, kill Ignis the Furnace Master to complete the encounter and earn the Shattered achievement.
Tips
If using a class with limited area attacks, a single auto-attack on each Brittle Construct in quick succession is reliable since they have almost no health in their Brittle state.
The Whole-Body Shrinka' toy can be used as an alternative method to trigger the shattering explosion on Brittle Constructs if standard attacks are not working correctly.
