Iron Dwarf, Medium Rare
Defeat 25 Dark Rune Guardian Dwarves with Razorscale's Flame Breath in Ulduar.
Iron Dwarf, Medium Rare requires you to defeat 25 Dark Rune Guardian Dwarves using Razorscale's Flame Breath in the Ulduar raid.
Remove All Gear
Before starting the encounter, unequip all of your gear. This prevents you from dealing too much damage and accidentally killing Razorscale or the dwarves.
Start the Encounter
Talk to the NPC to begin the Razorscale encounter. Do not attack anything — watch the engineers repair the harpoons and allow the Dark Rune Guardian Dwarves to kill the engineers without intervening.
Wait for Enough Dwarves
Let multiple waves of dwarves spawn before proceeding. You need at least 25 Dark Rune Guardian Dwarves present to complete the achievement in as few ground phases as possible.
Fire All Four Harpoons
Once the engineers are dead and Razorscale goes berserk — indicated by the chat message 'Razorscale goes into a beserker rage!' — immediately activate all four harpoons to bring her to the ground.
Kite Dwarves to Razorscale
After Razorscale lands, kite the dwarves to the front of her mouth and do not attack her or the dwarves. Let Razorscale's Flame Breath hit the grouped dwarves repeatedly until the achievement triggers.
Repeat if Needed
The achievement does not need to be completed in a single ground phase — if fewer than 25 dwarves are killed by Flame Breath in one attempt, the encounter can be reset and repeated.
Tips
Bring healing potions if you have no self-healing, as you will be taking damage from dwarves while ungeared.
If Razorscale does a single breath and returns to the sky, the harpoons become unusable for that attempt, so reset and try again.
